The villa is situated at VillaMartin. It is
less than 40 minutes drive from Alicante airport, only 20 minutes drive
from Torrevieja, the main local town, and 10 minutes to the nearest beach
of the Costa Blanca.
Torrevieja takes its name from the centuries old defence tower which overlooks the Mediterranean. Torrevieja received an award from the Spanish government – in recognition of development of the town – whilst it still retains its Spanish character. The town is very popular with Spanish holiday makers from Madrid, Bilbao, San Sebastian etc. and all over Northern Spain. The wonderful climate means the beaches are very important and Torrevieja boasts some of the finest in the area, all with the European Blue Flag. Closer at hand are VillaMartin plaza (5 minutes drive) with an array of some 30 restaurants and, within walking distance of the villa, a number of shops, bars and restaurants too. |
